Cambodia's New Airport Nears 76% Completion

Cambodia's aviation industry is preparing for a major upgrade! The Techo International Airport, a state-of-the-art Class 4F facility, is nearing completion (75.8% as of June 1st). Scheduled to open in mid-2025, it will replace Phnom Penh International Airport and handle up to 13 million passengers annually. Minister Mao Havannall emphasized ongoing efforts to expand domestic and international connections, particularly from Europe. With passenger numbers already surging (25% increase in 2024 compared to 2023), Techo International Airport is poised to become a major regional hub.
